[The Animal Bone Assemblage of the Roman Villa “Im Kreuzerfeld”

(german)]

The starting point of the thesis was the analysis of the animal bone assemblage found during the excavation of a roman villa rustica. The aim was the reconstruction of the mechanics of animal husbandry at this site and their comparison with other contemporary sites. Additionally, roman written historical sources were incorporated in the study.
